Rescreening instead of replacing
If the frame is sound, the mesh can usually be replaced, which is cheaper and faster than a new screen. Andrew re-splines the frame with new mesh so it sits tight and flat rather than bulging.
Sliding fly doors take more punishment than fixed screens. Their small rollers wear out, and once the door starts dragging the bottom rail suffers. Replacing the rollers early avoids a bigger repair later.
Homes with several damaged screens are best done in one visit. Count them up before you call so Andrew can plan the job.
